It has been 1 month since I confirmed my place at Manchester Business School and I can tell you this: the waiting is killing me.
It's amazing how every new stage brings anxiety and excitement, first it was the result of the application, then it was the result of the interview, then the acceptance process and now the waiting. Don't get me wrong about this I am very happy at the moment, but 3 months can be a long time when you are expecting to embark in such a quest.
The whole perspective changes when you know you are leaving, half your brain stays focused in your day to day life and the other half is 14,000 kilometers away planning where to live and how is it going to feel to be a student again.
I have already met some Chilean alumni and they have described their experience with such detail and spark that I can feel no less excited about leaving. They talked about the friends they made, the suburbs they lived in and how the MBA has help them to accomplish their goals. They also told me the dedication and work needed to survive the MBA at MBS, so the honesty was appreciated.
Well, I can't wait to get in the plane and fly to Manchester in August, but I will make the most out of the waiting time sharing with my family and friends.
We all live experiences , it is what brings light to life.
